In an industry as critical, technical, and high-risk as the electrical industry, safety is always the number one priority.

Our team should be able to work without any doubts about their safety because they have the required knowledge through extensive training and are equipped with the proper tools to ensure that we can continue optimizing electrical systems to the highest level of electrical safety standards. Since the founding of our company 2 years ago, safety has been the bedrock upon which our other ideals of efficiency, innovation, and customer service are built. We believe that safety is achieved with the right tools (knowledge and equipment) in combination with the proper mindset (habit formation through repetition), which is why we have accounted for both to ensure that we foster a culture of safety.

SEMINAR AND TRAINING ON SAFETY

All of our workers are required to undergo and pass our safety seminar and training before they can go to the field.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Wearing of hardhats, safety glass, safety shoes, and other required PPEs are strictly enforced at all job sites at all times for all of our workers.

CONDUCT OF PROPER TRAINING

We conduct training for NFPA 70E compliance, CPR and first aid certification, powder actuated tool certification and safety, excavation and trench safety, for our electricians. All of our electricians have completed the 10-hour OSHA certification courses. Our project managers have finished the required OSHA certification course.

SAFETY INCENTIVES PROGRAM

Our employees are encouraged and incentivized to identify innovations and other novel solutions that will help mitigate injuries and accidents.

EQUIPMENT CHECKUP

All tools, equipment, and machinery used by our workers are inspected and maintained before and after every use.

WEEKLY SITE SAFETY MEETINGS

Meetings focusing on highlighting site-specific safety protocols for our on-site workers are conducted weekly on all job sites.

CORPORATE SAFETY OFFICER

Our corporate safety officer ensures Optimize Electric is compliant with all safety regulations, as well as provides support to appointed field staff safety officers for on-site safety management.

SITE VISIT SAFETY INSPECTIONS

Our corporate safety officer or their representative conducts regular site safety inspections to ensure each job site is compliant with the highest standards of safety.

MONTHLY GENERAL SAFETY MEETINGS

These are general safety meetings held in the office where our field contractors can provide feedback on safety concerns encountered in the field. This an important bottom-up approach that ensures company-wide safety protocols are responsive to the needs and realities on the ground.
